Right of Withdrawal

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer (Section 13 of the German Civil Code, BGB), you have the right to withdraw from the contract for the purchase of an Argo license or Argo subscription within fourteen days without giving reasons. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.

Your contracting party for the purchase is our distribution partner Paddle, acting as Merchant of Record (the specific Paddle group entity is shown during checkout and on your order confirmation, typically: Paddle.com Market Limited, Judd House, 18–29 Mora Street, London EC1V 8BT, United Kingdom). To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must therefore inform Paddle of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email or via the Paddle buyer portal at https://www.paddle.net). You may use the enclosed model withdrawal form, though this is not mandatory. A withdrawal addressed to us (Mika Franke, Essener Straße 3, 06846 Dessau-Roßlau, Germany, info@agent-argo.com) will be forwarded to Paddle without delay by us; in this case too, sending the notice before the deadline is sufficient to meet it.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notice exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments made under the withdrawn contract without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged fees for the reimbursement. The refund is processed by Paddle.

Expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal expires for contracts concerning the supply of digital content not provided on a physical medium, pursuant to Section 356(5) BGB, if performance of the contract began after you

1. expressly agreed that performance of the contract could begin before the withdrawal period had expired, and
2. confirmed your knowledge that, by giving this consent, you lose your right of withdrawal once performance of the contract has begun,

and you were provided with a confirmation of the contract. This consent and confirmation are obtained during checkout.
